Readiness for Practice (RfP) videos are live! What is RfP? Formerly known as the summer institute, which I'm sure many of you will remember, this is the first stage of Approach Social Work. RfP is an intensive 5-weeks of learning where participants meet their whole cohort for the first time and start their learning journey together. What are the RfP videos? Designed for day 4 of RfP, these videos feature our wonderful Fellowship Ambassadors, @Jeneba and @Monique Campbell. In the video's they bring section 17 of the Children Act 1989 to life for participants, sharing their experiences of working with families subject to this. Each film centres on a different theme in relation to section 17, including: 1) Navigating thresholds 2) What happens if/when a family does not want to work with us 3) Working in partnership with families 4) The importance of consent Please comment below if you'd like us to share the videos with you. Thank you to our wonderful Fellowship Ambassadors for getting involved with this project, we know this will support participants to expand their knowledge on this topic. Keep your eye on this channel for future opportunities to share your expertise.
