In celebration of Black History Month, colleagues from Frontline’s Black Affinity Group led a panel discussion on the diversity within Black communities. The panelists shared stories and highlighted insights on the differences in Black culture, from heritage, art, food and customs, highlighting that Blackness is far from the ‘same’ and varies from culture and experience. As one colleague expressed, “Even though our skin colour may look similar, our cultures, backgrounds and stories are diverse and unique.” Special thanks to colleagues for shedding light on these perspectives and sharing your stories with us. It was a session full of learning, reflection and an appreciation for the diverse experiences within Frontline.
