This week we welcomed fellows back to Warwick for their second residential, as part of the Step Forward programme. With only a few months to go until they complete the programme it was great to get everyone together once again. Across the two days we heard from our wonderful facilitators about the different approaches to leadership, the importance of healthy boundaries as a social worker, how we can implement small changes to create a big change and ways we can network. Thank you so to all the facilitators who joined us and led engaging and impactful sessions. Residentials are an opportunity for fellows to learn and build relationships with one another, so we were thrilled to hear one fellow describe this cohort as a ‘beautiful family’. It truly captures the sense of community and support we strive to foster on the Step Forward programme, as well as building confident leaders in social work.
