🎉I’m excited to share that our leadership development programme, Step Forward, will be opening applications for its third cohort in Autumn 2024. Step Forward is a fully funded leadership development opportunity for fellows in the early stages of their social work career. For many social workers at the start of their career, it’s not easy to know how to progress or to access support to move forward. We also know that people from minoritised communities often face additional barriers to their progression. The programme is designed to help fellows overcome these challenges. What will fellows learn on the programme? • Develop leadership skills. Discover your unique leadership style, while identifying your personal strengths and areas for development. • Navigate your next career steps. Explore the career opportunities available to you and the knowledge, experience and skills to progress into your next role. • Drive systemic change for children. Collaborate and gain insights into the tools that will help shape the future of social work. 📆 The programme will start in February 2025 and will run for one year.
