Today marks the start of Social Work Week, an important opportunity to celebrate the work you all do as social workers. Your dedication and the commitment you show every single day to make a difference in the lives of children and families is invaluable. This week, on our social media and website, we will be shining a spotlight on the often challenging and complex nature of the profession, while also highlighting the positive impact that social work has on individuals and communities. This week there are a range of events taking place that offer an opportunity to hear directly from other social workers in the community, share experiences and celebrate the contributions they’ve made to the social work community: Join us on Tuesday 19 March to hear fellows share their research from the Frontline programme. You will also get the opportunity to ask them any questions you may have about their research topics. You can see a full programme of events on the Social Work Week website. As we celebrate Social Work Week, take a moment to appreciate each other and yourselves for your unwavering compassion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of children. Thank you for all that you do!
