The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Care-Experienced Children and Young People has just launched an inquiry into corporate parenting. Following a recommendation in the Care Review, the Government has committed to extending these responsibilities to a wider range of public bodies, and the APPG is keen to influence this process to ensure it provides the best outcome for children and young people in or leaving care. Frontline will be giving evidence as an organisation to the inquiry, but the APPG is also keen to hear from care-experienced children and young people themselves. This is a great opportunity for them to have a say in reforms which could have a big impact on their care. Please find further information and details of how young people can get in touch, and share with any who you think might be interested in taking part.
